"I
would absolutely advise hikers to plan a trip with KWG. It's not
a matter of if I'm coming back, rather when. Really, it was just
a great experience. Route knowledge, camp skills, & communication
were all great."
- Chris Childs, Iceberg Lake Base Camp; August
6 - 9th 2005
"Scenery:
beyond our expectations. The food was energizing. Our guide was
well familiar with the area and always aware of objective hazards.
He made us feel more confident camping in the backcountry. He was
very conscious of our concerns."
- Franz & Annie Wenzler, Fosse to Kennicott
via Packsaddle; July 26-30, 2005
"A wonderful lifetime experience"
- Jill Lohmeyer; Australia; Overnight Ice
Climb, July 2005
"I
loved the route! The variability of glacier travel, climbing and
land travel was great. It provided enough challenge that I felt
satisfyingly tired at camp."
- Karen Lang; Washington; 5-day Kennicott
Glacier Tour; August 2004
"I
wanted to first off let you know how much I appreciate the work
that you put into my trip to the Wrangells. The whole experience
in your neck of the woods was unforgettable. You truly do live in
a pristine place, and it's a privilege to have seen it through your
eyes, even if for just a week. I know I only skimmed the surface,
and hope to return in the very near future."
- Brady Binstadt, CA; 6-day Skolai to Wolverine,
June 2004
"A
big land that made me feel small - and great!"
- John Bonello; NYC; Chisana to White River
Trek
"Guide
dedication to making sure we were 'doing good' was appreciated."
- Gail Ondresky; Michigan; Iceberg Lake to
Granite Creek Traverse, Sept 2004
"Thank
You. A Great Trip. Super Memories. I will be back."
- Frank Calzone; Italy; Full day glacier hike
to Donoho Falls.
