This area is legendary....and appropriately so, the Bagley is the largest non-polar ice sheet in North America, and it's conveniently located only 60 miles south of McCarthy! The ski-plane ride here is one of the highlights of the trip with grand views of Mt. Logan, at 19,551 feet the highest peak in Canada and the largest mountain massif in the world. Also shining nearby is 18,008 foot Mt. Saint Elias, the second-highest point in the United States. A ski mountaineers dream come true!
